Boston Transportation was founded in early 2000 when founder Elizabeth Vasko helped a friend dispatch a fleet of trucks out of Boston, MA.
Later on, Elizabeth gained both knowledge and an interest in the shipping industry, while helping set up multiple authorities for a number of trucking and brokerage companies.
Yahoo Transportation, Idea Logistics, Midtown Transport, and Boston Transportation are among those who had Elizabeth as their head of operations.
GROWTH
In 2011, Boston Transportation Solutions & Dispatch Training was officially launched. What started as basic gatherings of friends in a local tea shop has grown in to one of the most innovative and respected instruction courses in the trucking sector, with the head offices in Chicago, IL and satellite offices in Dallas, TX and Miami, FL.
Today, the company provides the full spectrum of transportation solutions and trainings that is unmatched in the industry – Truck Dispatcher, Freight Broker, Safety Manager, Book Keeping, IFTA Calculation, Private Coaching and Networking Events.
EXPANSION
In 2021, Black Cat Safety was added to Smart Trucking Solutions Holding. This company focuses on MC Registrations, DOT FMCSA compliance and safety support for trucking companies.

Elizabeth started her education at Herzen State Pedagogical University in St. Petersburg, Russia, with two majors – one in Pedagogics and the other – in English and Finnish Linguistics. After coming to the United States, she completed her scholarship study at NAU Flagstaff, AZ, and an internship in Washington DC in 2000. Elizabeth is a cum laude graduate of Elmhurst University in Illinois, with BA in Managerial Communication, as well as a licensed insurance agent in Illinois, and holds multiple certificates of completion from various professional courses.
With a friendly attitude, a passion for helping others, and a goal-oriented work ethic, Elizabeth has helped shape Boston Transportation Solutions into an industry leader. Till now, she has been actively involved in teaching and enjoys spending time with her students and colleagues. Her work approach is to help people around her achieve and become better. She is dedicated and driven, but she takes a systematic approach to everything she does, which is how she has guided this company since it was first launched in 2000.
