Reinstatement of FMCSA MC Authority Applications are filed for those authorities that have been dismissed by FMCSA because insurance or bond verification (as well as BOC-3 filing) was not filed within 90 days of application date. To reinstate dismissed authorities takes approximately 5-10 days. Insurance, bond, and/or BOC-3 have to be filed with FMCSA in order for MC to turn active.
