MC Reinstatements are done for carrier, broker or freight forwarder motor carrier authorities that are currently showing inactive. For example, if you have a lapse in insurance, your MC goes inactive. To reinstate it, you need to have insurance (for motor carrier authorities) or bond (for broker or freight forwarder authorities) on file with FMCSA. The process usually takes 3-4 days.
