Come and learn Reasonable Suspicion Supervisor Training on Drugs and Alcohol in this 4-HOUR Workshop*. The purpose of this training is to prevent accidents and injuries that are the result of driver misuse of alcohol and/or drugs.
Section 382.603 requires that any person whose duty is to supervise Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) drivers must receive at least 60 minutes of training on alcohol misuse and an additional 60 minutes of training on controlled substances use. Upon completion of this required by DOT training, supervisors determine whether reasonable suspicion exists to require a driver to undergo testing under Sec. 382.307.
During training, students will learn how to distinguish between different types of drugs and alcohol misuse, as well as how to observe and document Alcohol & Drug Testing Records.
Our course meets the DOT requirements of 2 hours of Reasonable Suspicion Supervisor Training on Drugs and Alcohol, and students receive certificates upon completion.
* Q & A discussion with our Safety Manager Instructor is included, so this course is beyond a required 2 hours minimum.
